The Stockey POS is the operating system of the shop floor — a touch-first sale terminal, per-cashier sessions, branch-level session reconciliation, discounts, coupons, loyalty points, returns, and every transaction posted live into the admin dashboard. Stockey came to us with a multi-branch retail operation stitched together from off-the-shelf SaaS — one tool for the till, another for the catalogue, a spreadsheet for HR, and a fourth platform for the public site. The brief: collapse all of it into one platform with one ledger and one team to talk to.
The promise we made: a public storefront, a touch-first POS, an admin operations dashboard, a complete HRMS and a professional reporting suite — all reading off the same products table, the same cash and bank balances, the same employee records. So a price change in the back office reflects on the POS and the storefront in the same breath, and the monthly reports always reconcile back to the live dashboard.

Where The Old Stack Fell Short
Before we started, every Monday morning began with reconciling four spreadsheets across the SaaS tools. Three structural problems were costing Stockey hours every week and integrity every month.
Products lived in three places — POS, storefront, supplier sheet — and never quite matched. Prices on the website lagged the till by hours, and stock on the supplier sheet was usually a guess.
Cash totals from the POS, deposits in the bank account and figures on the accounting sheet never reconciled cleanly. Monthly close meant five hours of variance hunting before the reports could be trusted.
Attendance was a paper sheet, leaves were a WhatsApp message, salaries were a Google Sheet. Every payroll run was a manual stitch-together that took two days and almost always shipped with at least one variance.
One Platform, One Source Of Truth
We rebuilt Stockey as a single Laravel application with five purpose-built surfaces — storefront, POS, admin dashboard, HRMS and reports — all sharing the same products table, the same cash ledger and the same employee records. Five surfaces, one set of numbers.
A sale terminal built for tablets and lightweight desktops — opens, closes and reconciles in fewer taps than the next-tab competitor.

We had five tools we hated and one weekend a month of spreadsheet reconciliation. Hossam X Studios shipped one platform that does all of it — and Monday mornings are quiet for the first time in years.
How We Built It
From discovery to live deployment — our six-step delivery process for the Stockey platform.
We shadowed two branches over a week, mapped the five SaaS tools in use, and inventoried every product, branch, role and reconciliation rule that needed to survive the migration.
We designed one database schema that backs every surface — products read by POS and storefront, journals shared by accounting and the dashboard, employee records owned by HRMS but feeding payroll and audit trails.
A tokenized design system built around a Space Grotesk + Manrope pairing and a cool-blue palette — tuned for long-day operator screens and touch-first till hardware.
Built on Laravel Blade with Bootstrap-grid scaffolding, scoped CSS and inline SVG iconography — one surface (POS, dashboard, HRMS…) at a time, each shipping with its own QA pass.
We piloted the platform in one branch for two weeks before rolling it out to the rest — migrating historical sales, employees and inventory with reconciliation checkpoints at every step.
All branches went live together with a single in-store training pass per branch, followed by a 30-day support window with daily check-ins until every operator was comfortable.
